Welcome to the forum! That’s a great question. We don’t have anything that general today, but I’d love to have a solid walkthrough of the codebase, perhaps a video would be useful?
It would be helpful to know what part of the codebase you’re interested in hacking with? Since most of Redash is modular it’s much easier to introduce specific segments.
For instance, if you want to write a new query runner you can read this recent doc which covers the basics.
I’m working on similar docs for adding new visualisation types and new alert destinations, which use a similar pattern to the query runners.
If you have other specific questions by all means post them here and I’ll do my best to respond
