Dashboard-level filtering only works when looking at the dashboard from the creators perspective. Using the public dashboard link via the URL from the sharing capabilities restricts filtering at the dashboard level. The user from the public dashboard then needs to manually change filtering for each widget. Is there a workaround for this?

Prior to Redash V8, parameters were not allowed on public dashboards because of SQL injection risk. In V8, public dashboards will support parameters (except for text type parameters). V8 is currently in stable beta.

I think the question is not regards input filters
it is about UI filters (::filter or ::multi-filter), there is no SQL injection risk in this case.
