Issue Summary

Hello, I am new to redash and I am having an issue connecting to a data source. I know my credentials are correct as I have connected to this server through other means but I am getting an error every time I try to connect through redash. Error code 20017 and error code 20002.

This is a screen shot of my setting and error code. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Technical details:

  • Redash Version: 8.0.0+b32245 (a16f551e
  • Browser/OS: osx 10.13 Chrome 99.0.4844.83
  • How did you install Redash: Setup script

Maybe a firewall is blocking traffic between Redash and your server?

I thought that as well, I had the company administering our server whitelist 52.71.84.157

Are there any others I need?

That’s the IP address of the old hosted Redash platform which doesn’t exist anymore. They need to whitelist your IP address.
