Filtered dashboards are great, because they let different people see different things, based on what they need. However, once they find what they need, they should be able to bookmark that dash, with their filters included.
Another option could be long-term storage of the most recent filtered selection, and then just reloading with those selections. The downside here is the exact dashboard isn’t shareable, i.e. when I send it to someone else, they may see something different.
