Installed redash on the windows through docker.

Tried to connected to Mysql running on docker in a separate docker network.

Unable to connect to Mysql. The notification error says.

err:"2006, “Connection Test Failed:Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’”.

Tried it with redash version 7 and 8. Both have same issue.

This question isn’t specific to Redash. Sounds like a standard docker networking issue.

Have you configured port forwarding so that the two docker networks are accessible to one another?
