Hi. I’m trying to add a count visualization to my dashboard from a query with parameters.

When I display the visualization on the dashboard it looks like this (ignore the refresh arrow, that was because I already changed the dashboard in another window):

When I remove the parameters it looks like expected:
(No image. “Sorry, new users can only put one image in a post.” Wow thanks.)

Is this a bug in redash or is there a way to have parameterized queries show up on dashboards as a count?

You need to resize the widget to fit both the value and the parameters. The default size we use is too small for both (just drag it from one of the corners, when the dashboard is in edit mode).

Sorry about this. This is the default Discourse setting – I’ll check if we can change this.
