I understand that it’s possible to limit query access by data source, but I find this much rigid when you have hundreds of query and different sectors in charge of different data in an organization.

I think that groups is the perfect place to put these different sectors, but in my organization some queries are needed by different sectors, so the only way to make this visible to both sectors is creating a new data source (will be the same as the one that you already use in the query) and assigning this data source for both groups.

It’s appear to be a bit clumsy for me, would like to receive feedback and also put me available to help in the implementation.

Thanks!

I’d like this too, let’s keep an eye on this githut issue : https://github.com/getredash/redash/issues/3284

100% this. Welcome to the forum!

OP could also use the API to accomplish this. It wouldn’t be elegant, but it would save a lot of clicking through the interface.
