Issue Summary
First of all, we have been using Redash for the last couple of weeks now and really enjoy the experience so far. Cheers.
We just came across the concept of “Query Snippets” in the system the other day, but haven’t been able to figure out how to make use of them. We put a snippet into the system, but there is no autocomplete within the query area to allow us to make use of the snippets.
After a little more research we found that it isn’t that the snippets aren’t working at all, but that they aren’t working when we’re using any of our RDS data connections. If we switch over to create a query using a Google Analytics data source, the snippets autocomplete and fill themselves in beautifully. Switch back over to any of our RDS-based data sources, however, and the autocomplete stops appearing.
