So I can’t figure this out, even if my life depended on it!!!

Can a kind soul point a solution? I figure it must be really simple, just can’t get it…

The reason is I’m moving to another machine…

Thanks.

forgot that it’s ubuntu installed with the vanilla provisioning script.

Supervisor starts all the processes, which in turn is started by init.d (see /etc/init.d/redash_supervisord). I’m not familiar enough with init.d to tell if there is a way to flag something not to start on boot, but this should give you some clue on what to do.

Ok this is embarassing… but I had moved redash to an lxd container. On a vps I have, lxd does not show containers processes in ps aux, but on my work machine it does… every container process shows up with pid’s>100000. So that’s why I thought redash was still running on the host, but it was really only on the container.

Sorry about that. And thanks for taking the time do respond.
