Getting nice (and consistent) colours would be a pretty damn marvellous addition.
One approach could be to define a special column - if my series is named “Country” (or even “Country::filter”) then I’d add a column named “Country::color” which would hold colour values - hex, names, whatever. Redash would then pull the first value for each distinct value and assign that colour, any undefined colours would go through the normal picker process.
