Redash Database Oracle

Will be nice that instead of using the default Postgress DB for redash in self hosted

I can use my oracle database as the main DB for Redash.

And automatically create the schema and the DB structure needed for Redash

In short: not a chance.

I doubt that it’s legal to do this. Redash is open source software. Oracle is a predator. We can’t even distribute their database driver, much less build on their stack. The cost to test an integration would be immense.

If you need this feature you can fork Redash and build it yourself at your own risk. But don’t distribute your fork without written permission from Oracle’s legal department.

Thanks for your response, make sense
