Issue Summary

Redash query should run daily on a specific time. For example 8:00 am.

For unknown reasons the query is executed several times of the day. Is there a way to find out who executed the query? It would be great to know if it was a user or scheduled-job.

Technical details:

  • Redash Version: Version: 8.0.1+b33387 (cd13c978)
  • Browser/OS: Chrome Version 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-Bit); macOS 10.14.6
  • How did you install Redash: Container

Executions by users are recorded in Redash’s metadata DB on the events table. Scheduled executions are not.

Hi @jesse,
thank you! Sorry, I didn´t know about the events database.
Is ist possible to query the events table within redash?

It is. There are many similar questions elsewhere on the forum about connecting to Redash’s metadata DB.
