Widgets must currently be spread out in 2 dimensional space. This takes up a lot of real-estate and requires users to do a lot of scrolling if there are a lot of results on a dashboard. Often there are results that are less important to be always displayed but you want users to be able to drill down to them.
One solution is to allow “stacking” widgets. When you drop one widget on top of another, add tabs or a dropdown menu or sidebar or something to allow users to select which one is displayed.
Would need a way to control stacking order.
