Issue Summary

Hi,

I can’t manage to connect to my postgres database. Every time I try to test the connection after filling the form for a new datasource, it gives me the error provided below. Any clue ? What am I doing wrong ?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new datasource for a pg database
  2. Fill the information and click test connection

  • Browser/OS: Firefox / Debian
  • How did you install Redash: script.sh (docker-compose)

Did you ever sort this out? I suspect the solution is to swap out the ascii codec for a more effective one (the full list of possible codecs is here).
