More of a “meta” question here…
It looks like some people fork redash and make a custom application, where the application is essentially a redash clone with maybe a few tweaks here and there.
I’m wondering, though, if people have used redash as the foundation for a customer-facing application where, yes, some data and viz features of redash are found in a few specific views, yet the rest of the application is all custom made server and front-end code. In other words, instead of a tweaked redash clone, redash server code and client code infrastructure forms the basis for a much larger application, of which familiar redash views play only a small part.
I realize this question is a little vague; hope it makes enough sense, though, for someone to (please) offer insight or advice.
