Currently, if a user has view access to a data source, they can view the resulting widgets from that data source, but cannot refresh.

Preferably, we would like it so that even if a user cannot edit the data source (i.e. write new queries etc), the user would be able to simply “refresh” tables/graphs/etc that have already been created by that dashboard.

Hi,

I’m happy to say that this is resolved in the next release (and already available on app.redash.io). View Only users will be able to execute queries, including queries with parameters. The only exception is queries with text parameters, which are not allowed yet for View Only users (due to risk of SQL injections).

app.redash.io has only one version – “current” :smiley: It’s already deployed.
