Issue Summary
I would like to manually do the database upgrade from v7 to v8.
Technical details:
- Redash Version: v7, Bitnami image
- How did you install Redash: Bitnami AMI
- Redash database: AWS RDS
My plan:
- make a copy of the database
- run upgrade scripts manually
- use v8 AMI (official, not Bitnami) and point it to the new(ly upgrade) database
- check everything is OK
- change IP of the address to point to the new instance instead of the old one
The only thing I’m missing is an understanding which of these scripts are for v7->v8 upgrade:
